Report a Policy Violation
As someone who has always prided herself on giving credit where it is due, it really boils my blood to see so many people on DA who really don't seem to give a damn about copyright infringements. So, I have written a sort of FAQ's of different issues I have come across. I know that a bunch of articles have been written about this subject, but I feel that I should do all that I can to help.

Guys. You guys. Stop making my brain hurt. It's clear he's not happy with this. Do not want. Do not ever want.
He's cute enough and has his own personal charm. Can't you be happy with the way he is? I mean, yeah, it's cool to experiment with other styles... but when you draw him like a Bishounen, it's just not him anymore. Of course, I'm half-joking... and there's no way I can stop it. But I have the freedom to complain every once in a while, too. So... I'm taking that opportunity here: Don't get me wrong, original designs and personal interpretations are perfectly acceptable (and I love seeing them...) I admit, though: I was being a little over-reactive at the time. (The drawing that inspired this was actually an anime character COSPLAYING as Beetlejuice...) I suppose the big problem was that I was seeing a lot of other people making no attempt to translate all of his important, albeit gross, characteristics and thus created a beautiful monster which they TRIED to pass off as Beetlejuice. Even I'm somewhat hypocritical to my own opinion, as I've made him to look pretty thin in that suit (but I was looking at still-shots from the MOVIE because I like that design more than the animated series.) But I've rambled on long enough. I do that sometimes. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
